Saturday, April 18, 2009 Byron Wells-This multi talented musician has been on the scene since the early 1960’s performing with the group “The Travelers” . In the early 70’s, he toured with the New Christy Minstrels and The Limeliters where some of his songs were recorded. His songs have been recorded by Emmy Lou Harris, Andy Williams, Burl Ives, and many more performers. As an actor, he played in the movie STARMAN with Jeff Bridges . May 2009 Tom Corbett-Tom has nearly 30 years of experience on mandolin and guitar. He has toured with John McEuen of the Nitty Gritty Dirt band and the Accousticats,. While still remaining a popular sideman to these groups, he has become a frontman of his own trio performing in coffeehouses, listening rooms and house concert circuits along the West Coast Americana scene. He performs regularly in local venues around the Los Angeles area. Severin names his greatest musical influences as Paul Simon, James Taylor and of course his brother, Jackson Browne. Saturday, February 24, 2009 Laurence Juber best known for his work as the lead guitarist in Paul McCartney’s “Wings”. He spent three years recording and touring with the band. During that time, he won Best Rock Instrumental GRAMMY for the track “Rockestra” from the Wings album “Back to the Egg”. Donation $20 |
